And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray and not to faint (Lk.18:1)
Over the past few days, we have been exploring the Scripture to understand how an effective prayer life, which is an uninterrupted communication in faith, can give the husbandman direction, strength, courage, and stability as he leads himself, his wife, and his children.
But what understanding should the husbandman have regarding prayer?
Prayer is a spiritual seed. When you pray, you are sowing seeds that go into the future to reshape the destinies and circumstances of your life as the man, husband, and father (Is.45:2).
Prayer is communion with God, Your heavenly Father (Is.1:18). God wants to have a relationship with you. He doesn’t want you to see Him as a transactional God but a loving Father who enjoys the company of his children, including you.
Prayer is also the vehicle you use to carry all your challenges to God, through Jesus Christ (Matt.11:28). God doesn’t want you to seek answers or help from anywhere else but in Him because He made you and He is faithful, dependable and reliable.
God wants you to fulfill His perfect plans for your life as the good and godly husbandman and He has provided a channel through which you can reach Him to gain the power to succeed, and that platform is prayer (Jer.33:3, Philp.2:13).
Always remember that having uninterrupted communication with God through Jesus Christ is your lifeline to becoming the good and godly husbandman.

- Father, in the Name of Jesus, grant me the Spirit of grace and supplication
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, anoint my tongue for great exploits in my family
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, as I declare Your counsel over my wife and children, let it come to pass.

I give myself to praying to God through Jesus Christ as a lifestyle because that is what enables me to live and lead successfully as the good and godly man, husband, and father, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
