Your call into husbandhood is a call to a diligent work with proofs to show. Your claim that you are the good and godly husbandman is in your works. This is why your works must speak louder than your words.
If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works, that ye may know and believe that the Father is in me and I in Him (Jn.10:37-38)
Neither your wife nor children will believe that you are truly the head of the family until you have demonstrated godly leadership to them by your works. Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman was known more for His works than for His words. So, when some persons wanted to cast doubt about His place in the plan of God, He told them this, but if I do, though ye believe not me, BELIEVE THE WORKS (Jn.10:37a).
Your wife and children want to see results. They want to see you function as the man, husband and father in every sense of it. They want to see how you have demonstrated the capacity to be the provider, protector, and guardian at home. So, if you talk more than the results on ground, you cannot exercise authority and earn the ultimate respect from them.
Therefore, you must take complete and personal responsibility over the lives of wife and children by engaging in biblical demands of the good and godly husbandman. This includes providing for their needs, whether your wife earns income or not, protecting them from hurt, always speaking the truth, living a righteous life, walking in love and so much more (1Cor.13:4-, Eph,5:25m Col.3:19, Deut.6:6-10, Jos.24:15, Jn.10:1). It is your good work that makes your headship profitable.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me a fruitful tree in my family kingdom.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to take full responsibility of taking care of my wife and children as You would.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from mental and physical laziness.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am fruitful and profitable in the works of my hands, and it shall feed and care for my wife and children in Jesus Name. Amen.
PRAYER OF SALVATION/REDEDICATION
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
