For the WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb.4:12)
Yesterday, we discovered from Scriptures that the Word of God guarantees victory to the husbandman only if he knows the Word, believes the Word, and acts on the Word.
Today, I want to share the many-sided power of the Word so that you and I can continue to engage with the Word of God to make our lives fit for purpose as the good and godly husbandmen.
Now this is how powerful the Word of God is and what it can do in your life as the husbandman.
The Word of God has the power to renew your mind so that you can think, act, and conduct yourself after the pattern of Jesus Christ (Rom.12:2).
The Word of God has the power to set you free from free from satan, sin, addictions and all forms of ungodly habits because it has behind it the Spirit of God (Ezk.2:2, Jn.6:63, Jn.8:32). Every time you study the Word of God and believe what it says, the spirit of God enters you to make you become like what the Word says.
The Word of God gives life and sanctifies (Jn.5:39). The life God wants you to live as the good and godly man, husband, and father is painted in Scripture. The more you give attention to the Word of God and commit to doing all that it says, the more you will live a life well-pleasing to God on earth, to your wife, to your children, to the world. You are also sure of eternity with Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman.
As the husbandman, you must understand that the Word of God is not your alternative. It is the real deal. It is the lifeline and essence of your life because it is the food that makes you become the good and godly man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me a word addict and let Your word dominate my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make Your word potent and fruitful in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make Your word to be fruitful in the lives of my wife and children.
FAITH CONFESSION
I engage with the word of God passionately, I believe what it says and act exactly as it commands because it is life-giving to my walk as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
