As the good and godly husbandman, what really gives you victory? What empowers you to deliver on the mandate of your calling as the godly man, husband, and father? These are important questions we will answer today so that you and I can fulfill our calling as good and godly husbandmen and vessels of honour to God, through Jesus Christ.
The answer to the questions is found in Hebrews chapter 4.
For the WORD OF GOD is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow and is a discerned of the thoughts and intents of the heart (Heb.4:12)
The Word of God gives you victory all the time because it is quick, powerful, and sharper than any sword. This means that the Word of God is the most potent force that brings you victory, as well as the good and godly changes you want to see in your life as the man, husband, and father, if only you can believe what the Word says and you act on it in faith.
But for you to always win with the Word of God, you must have a personal relationship with the word of God through Jesus Christ (Jn.3:3-6, 2Cor.5:17).
You must keep studying the Word of God and meditating on it as a lifestyle (Jos.1:8, Ps.1:1, 2Tim.2:15).
You must trust the word of God and keep believing what it says is true, regardless of the present unpleasant circumstances (Heb.11:6).
You must keep declaring what God says, not what you feel or what negative circumstances say (Matt. 6:22, Rom.10:10).
The Word of God will always guarantee you success and victory as you lead your life and the lives of your wife and your children. Therefore, start engaging with the Word of God today and put it to work in every aspect of your life.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me a word addict and let Your word dominate my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make Your word potent and fruitful in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make Your word to be fruitful in the lives of my wife and children.
FAITH CONFESSION
I engage with the Word of God passionately; I believe what it says and act exactly as it commands because it is life-giving to my walk as the good and godly husbandman, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
