As the head of the family, you must understand that you cannot become a good and godly husband to your wife and children as well as other husbands until you break away from certain associations and influences that seem to make you disobey God. You must break away from the camp of husbands or friends that treat sin or unrighteousness lightly.

Sadly, this lie has led many husbands to be careless with the position thereby leading to divorce, unhealthy relationships between them and their flocks and so much evil. But from our study in 1Cor.11, the word of God shows you and I very clearly that we have someone we report to.

But we have a responsibility to appreciate that being a husband is a mandate from God and it is a favour that God bestows on us.
