As a husband, I don’t want you to lose hope or be discouraged. You are not a nonentity.
Leave a CommentEvery husband who cannot provide for his immediate family has lost the authority and audacity to lead. He is not just below the level of an unbeliever, he has denied the faith. No husband has the right to lift up his head and influence his flock, if he relies and looks up to his wife’s salary or parents hand-outs for provision.

Leave a CommentAs the husbandman, you are not leading to give up. No! You are empowered to go all the way with your flock. It doesn’t matter how imperfect and irresponsible your wife and children may be, your headship is not a temporary position. It is God’s eternal plan.

This is so important in the times we are in, when husbands are losing their minds, confused and unable to provide purposeful leadership in the home.

What this means is that no matter the offence your wife or children may have committed against you, work towards communicating your displeasure to them before the end of that day. Do all that you can to discuss with them what has made you unhappy.

It is a virtue that would help you function as a good and godly husband in your family fold. You must love your wife and children as Jesus will love them, their sins notwithstanding.
