Bible Texts: Ps.Ps.28:7, Heb.11:1, Ps.31:1, 2Cor.4:18, Heb.11:6, Heb.11:33, Joel 3:10, Job 22:29, 2Cor.10:4, Heb.11:6
While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal but the things which are not seen are eternal (2Cor.4:18)
Yesterday, with the help of the Person of the Holy Spirit, the foundation for faith for the husbandman was laid. But now, why must I walk by faith in God and trust Him to become the good and godly husbandman?
Faith empowers you for overwhelming victories.
By faith they shut the mouth of lions and by faith they subdued nation (Heb.11:33)
You can use the Word of God to shut the mouth of satan, sin and the world that wants to steal, to kill and to destroy your relationship with your wife and your children.
Faith is a weapon of warfare.
For the weapon of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of every stronghold (2Cor.10:4)
You don’t fight the forces threatening to destroy your harmonious relationship with your wife and your children by the arm of flesh. No! You fight those satanic forces by the instrument of faith. So, you command every form of ungodly character, attitude, and actions out of the lives of your wife and your children because these forces are unseen (Lk.10:19, Gal.4:19, Eph.2:2). Remember the story of Jesus and Peter, when Jesus cast the spirit of disrespect behind Peter’s misbehaviour.
Faith gives you access to the presence of God and the fullness of His power.
He that must come to God must first believe…(Heb.11:6)you
Faith in God and in His Word brings the power of God to bear in those areas of your life where you are having challenges. There is no challenge you may be having with your wife or your children that the power of God cannot resolve. No force is contending with your walk to becoming the good and godly husbandman that cannot be subdued by faith.
Faith is a supernatural force. You can become the good and godly man, husband and father by faith in God and in His Word.
Hallelujah!
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, let the power of the glorious gospel shine on my path as I lead my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to trust Your Word as the absolute truth as I lead my life, the lives of my wife and my children.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of faith, and help me to lead by faith and not by sight.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am baptized with the spirit of faith, and I walk by faith and not by sight in all that I do, and over the circumstances of life, because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
