Today’s teaching was done on Sunday, the 26th of February 2023, and it is relevant today because many husbandmen are confused and aimless. They have left their Source, God, and His Word. They think they can lead and succeed as good and godly men, husbands and fathers by their strength. This has put the husbandman under intense pressure, resulting in depression, heart failure, and sudden and untimely death. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that after today’s reminder, you will return to the One who made you, God Almighty, and let Him lead you. Amen.
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the instructions Moses gave you. Do not deviate from them, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. Study this BOOK OF INSTRUCTION CONTINUALLY. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do (Jos.1:7-8) NLT
From the above Bible passage, three important demands are expected from the husbandman if he must prosper and succeed as the good and godly man, husband and father. And that is, the husbandman must study, meditate and act on the word of God.
You must recognize that, as the husbandman, you cannot be greater and better than what you know, and you are prepared to act on the Word of God. You cannot command positive influence beyond the knowledge of God you know and you put to work in your life.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (Jas.1:25)
Everything you need to know about the will of God for your life as the husbandman is contained in the Bible. You only need to own a Bible, study it continually, meditate on the word, work with the Person of the Holy Spirit and practice the word.
There are so many instructions in the Bible designed by God for your growth, development and profiting as the good and godly man, husband and father.
The perfect will of God for you is to become like Jesus Christ in deed and in words in your roles as the man, husband and father. God wants you to flourish as the head of your family. He wants you to prosper as the husbandman. He wants you to earn followership, respect, honour and loyalty. God wants you to be a leader of influence and affluence (Rev.5:10). But you have the responsibility to study, meditate and act on the Book of instruction – the Bible- to grow and develop into the full stature of your calling as the husbandman.
Therefore, give attention to the word of God, incline your ears to His saying, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your path to becoming the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to give attention to Your word.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me the spirit of wisdom and understanding and help me to understand Your instructions.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to obey all Your instructions concerning my role as the husbandman.
FAITH CONFESSION
I give myself to study the Book of Instruction, think about it and apply myself to all the instructions contained therein because that is what empowers me to become the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
