Today’s teaching is both a reminder and a warning to every husbandman who thinks that he is not responsible to anybody; who thinks he can do as he pleases; and acts anyway.
As the husbandman, you have a Master and you must submit to Him and His corrections, instructions and commandments.
The head of Christ is God and the head of the man is Christ and the head of the wife is the husband (1Cor.11:1-6)
The same way the Head of Christ is God is also the say way your head is Christ. The same way Jesus submitted to the Lordship of God while on earth is also the same you must submit to the Lordship of Christ. The same way Christ did everything to please God while on earth is the same way you must work and walk to please Jesus Christ. The same Christ surrendered to the leadership of God on earth is the same way you must surrender to the leadership of Christ as you lead your life, and the lives of your wife and your children.
But why is my submission to Jesus Christ so important as I walk the journey of the good and godly husbandman?
It is because Jesus Christ is the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Secondly, it is because Christ is the Wisdom of God given to you, so that when you do what He says, you cannot take foolish decision or act in ways not pleasing to God.
Thirdly, it is because without Jesus Christ, you can do nothing; not even the power to do the right thing according to the Word of God as the man, husband and father.
You have a glorious destiny as the husbandman. What you must do is to continue to bring yourself under the leadership of Jesus Christ in all you think or do, and you will discover your life has transformed into the image and likeness of Christ, the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender my will, emotions, my body to You.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I give You my life, my soul and my thought as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, please let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You.
FAITH CONFESSION
I consciously and willing declare You, Jesus Christ, as the Lord over my life because that is the gateway for me to become the good and godly influence over my wife and children and in the marketplace as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
