Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Eph.6:18)
Yesterday, we discovered from Scriptures that rejoicing in the Lord always notwithstanding the negative or unrealized expectation is the attitude God wants the husbandman to have so he can guard his spirit man from depression and heaviness (Is.61:3, Hab.3:17-19).
Now, one major way you can sustain the attitude of joy is to continue to pray effectively. But how does the husbandman pray effectively so he can obtain answers to his prayer?
The husbandman must know and encounter the revelation of Word of God through study and engaging with the Person of the Holy Spirit (Jn.14:26).
Study to show thyself approved as a workman unto God that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Tim.2:15)
When you study the Word of God and the spirit of the Word is revealed to you, your prayer enjoys speedy answers (Ezk.2:2).
You must continue to be in love with Jesus by doing only those things that brings Him honour (Jn.3:3-5, Ps.24:1-2, 2Cor.5:17).
You must continue to be hopeful and walk by faith in the Word of God you have believed because without faith it is impossible to please God and who ever must come to God must first believe (Heb.10:35, Heb.11:2, Heb.11:6).
Praying effectively is obtaining answers from God through Jesus Christ. That is the perfect will of God for you because He wants you to be the good and godly man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, pour upon me the spirit of grace and supplication.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, stir up a prayer revival in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pray aright and give me victory over the works of satan, sin and the world.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am praying always and without ceasing, using the word of God as my foundation that is the empowerment I need to lead as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
PRAYER OF SALVATION/REDEDICATION
Now that you have read the devotional, you need to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ (1Tim.2:4). It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer of salvation in faith.
Lord Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
