As a shepherd, you are the apprentice and Jesus Christ, who is the perfect example of a good and godly husband, is the Master. Every skill, knowledge, information and examples you will require to excel as the head of your family and as a godly man, husband and father is in Him. So, if you want your sheep and the people around you to notice the life of Jesus through you and bring glory to His name, you must deliberately sign up for apprenticeship with Jesus Christ.

The devil who is determined to make you worthless as a man, husband and father will not come in human form. He will come through the things we read, hear and watch. This is the more reason why you must continue to be watchful over the kind of relationships you initiate and maintain; the nature of conversation you get involved in; the places you go; and the books you read as well as the programmes you also watch and listen to

You must develop an attitude of tireless pursuit of the truth from the word of God. And as you keep searching and keep practicing the word of God as it concerns your sheep, you will not be ashamed to be called a good and godly husbandman (2 Tim.2:15).

Until you show your wife the love of Christ by practical demonstration, you are fake. You have had your wife on your wish list. It is now time for you to put her in your action list.

God has made you to have advantage over the challenges that come with leading your wife and children. According to the word of God, you are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Rom.8:37).

As the head of your family and the shepherd over your wife, what you say in prayers for your wife goes a long way to define the outcome of her life. The will of God is for you to present your wife as a bride without spot or wrinkle

Let love be without hypocrisy. Keep doing what is good to your sheep regardless of their negative attitude

As the husband and the head of your family, you must understand the architecture of your wife to enjoy all that God has deposited inside her
